Here's pictures of all my booty from Canadian Suzette of the Whose Lace is it Anyway swap!
I'm having high-speed internet issues, but luckily I still have my AOHell dialup back up.
Sooo, I uploaded a ton of pictures and organized my Webshots area . . . while on dialup.
It sucked, but it's done!
Suzette is so kind and wonderful! Her package was filled with nice, beautiful and thoughtful items. I am officially spoiled from here on out in the swapping world! My 'Queen for a Day' has been extended over the three-day weekend! Thank you thank you thank you Suzette. You're the best!

Dateline: 12:30pm Friday, September 1, 2006
Picture it: Sitting at my office, wishing the next four hours were done already. In walks the mailman . . . and I spy a good-sized box in his bin. My heartbeat starts to quicken. Could it? Might it? I get up and walk to him, with my hands clasped behind me like a kid in a candy store looking at the display. What's that I read on the box? Something 'Canada'? My pulse picks up the pace further. Last I heard from my lace swap partner was her hints about being a Canadian, 'eh . . . ooooohhhhh, this could the start of something BIG I'm thinking. The mailman takes notice of my sudden interest of his presence (to-date I've never come out of my office when he's come in) and realizes I'm not jumping up for HIM - I'm jumping up for his *package* (snort). He finally fills out the requisite paperwork and hands me the box. His voice fades off to a distant drone as I grab scissors and attack my postal goodie. In the back of my mind I'm thinking 'be good - must take pictures first' . . . then I rip it open and start oooooohhhhing and aaaaaahhhing and petting, and smiling, and squeeing and generally looking like a right lunatic!!!
Fade to black.
Well . . . it's all packed back up for the trip home - it's gonna be a LOOOONG four hours. When I get home I'll get some pictures and descriptions up. For now let me thank Ms. Suzette of Canada for being a FABULOUS swapper. I feel like it's my Queen For a Day moment!! Thank you Suzette!! |

| Lace Swap Pron - Lindsey B's gifts |

I spent some time this afternoon taking pronographic Lace Swap package pictures of Lindsey B's gifts.
After that, I uploaded them to my computer and took time to rename them and even give them little captions.
Dumb me thought that all that effort would translate to my flickr account . . . but NOOOOOOO!
So, I got lazy and didn't redo all the captions in flickr OR even my Webshots account (where I loaded some of them too).
Shadow and Callie assisted in the photo shoot. Shadow was her usual Diva self, and I think Callie got high from a natural fiber overload!
Raiders are on right now (ugh - I'm a DolFan!!) so The Mike is watching TV while I cook dinner and update my journal.
Tonight we're having:
Chicken Cordon Bleu (from a recipe I found online and modified to my liking)
Bow Tie pasta with a mushroom cream sauce
Asparagus - The Mike's favorite vegetable . . . of all time!
I've been in and out of my Clapotis knitting today . . . mostly out . . . but I'll be back on it hot and heavy while I watch an evening of great shows.
Entourage at 7pm and Big Brother All Stars at 9pm. BB is supposed to be a kick-ass episode tonight and I'm all a-twitter! The day(s) Dr. Will and Janelle go will be days filled with Snoopy Happy Dances!! |

I'm in a lace swap and I've been toying with my unsuspecting lace recipient. It's so much fun to bestow presents and goodies on a complete stranger! I love it!
She doesn't know who I am yet, so mum's the word for now . . . |
